You owe me Jojo
I had thermal pane sliding glass doors left over from my contracting days.
I had left over corrugated metal roofing. Also some treated 2X6's
The fans were also left over as well as the vents. I cut 11/2 inch spacers
from some 3/8 inch steel pipe.
First I painted the metal flat black high temp.
I removed the siding.
I screwed a 2X6 box with short legs together and routed a rabbit to fit the glass into.
I set the box against the wall squared it and marked out the inside.
I marked out the holes for the vent and fan and cut them out in the metal
and wall, Then wired for the fan, thermostat, and on off sw
The fan was already in an 8" sheet metal duct. I made a tube from sheet metal
for the vent and tested the fan operation.
I then screwed the metal through drilled holes and through the spacers to the wall.
I un-screwed one side of the box which was also painted flat black on the inside.
I installed the glass and screwed the box to the wall.
Caulked and painted.
When the fans fail I hope to replace them with a solar rig.
