Ship Board Knife??
« on: November 02, 2015, 09:44:11 am »
I wish I really knew who made this knife.
I bought it at a yard sale years ago.
I had it front and center in my display case
until so much abo material sort of obscured it.
A friend noticed it yesterday and asked about it.
I told him all I Think I know lol
It looks like a ship board hobby shop knife possibly
made by a WW2 sailor who was deployed to
the Indian Ocean.New Caledonia may be where he got
the stag antler. The brass I imagine came from an on
board artillery or deck gun casing.
I am sure you fellas know more than I can conjure up.
Thanks Zuma
