That's some exceptional work.  What a treat to see.  Congrats.  Hope it shoots as good as it looks.

Thanks guys for the nice comments!

This was my first take-down and also my first lever bow, so it was a slow build.  During finishing, I was hung up on how to nicely transition the takedown sleeve to limb. After racking my little head for some time, I remembered Richard B's takedown build and did what he did with cork. http://www.primitivearcher.com/smf/index.php?topic=45456.45
Thanks Richard!

awesome craftsmanship...a work of art!
when i'm working on things my ancestors worked, singing the songs my ancestors sang, dancing the same dances, speaking the same language, only then  I feel connected to the land, THIS land, where my ancestors walked for thousands of years...

Wow Carson, that's a beautiful bow. Great looking tiller and that handle wrap compliments the skins nicely. Nice work!

Very cool. Still kicking myself for not picking up some ray hide a few years back, saw some for dirt cheap and thought "What am I ever going to do with that?"

Thanks guys for the nice comments.

Jackson, this was the first time I ever used it. It was kind of a pain to trim and sew, but in the end it was worth it.
