The mods didn't do anything.
Then how does a non-mod user go about deleting a thread? I don't see that option on my threads on any of the forums I frequent as a normal user. Now the ones I am a moderator on, this is a piece of cake. Is he a mod?
But you're correct about the high-jacking. Threads get high-jacked. It's a part of life. The choice to remove something that others have invested time into should be a group decision. I don't know about the rest of you guys, however, time is something I don't seem to have a lot of.
If one chooses to not share his or her information on a thread they created, they should just edit their posts in said thread to read "deleted by me".
Also, my apologies for this thread high-jack. Once we're done discussing, I'll delete my posts regarding this matter from here.
P.S. Everything that gets deleted goes into a special forum accessible to mods and admins
yep. this is how the forums usually work. it allows the 'mods' to see what has been deleted and for what reasons.
