Cool Wood
« on: October 21, 2015, 05:46:36 pm »
A buddy stopped by last night. He teaches engineering
principals in Lexington VA.
We were shootin the breeze and he asked if I wanted
to see some of his teaching aids.
Of course I said "affirmative"
Here is one of them. Thought you all might enjoy.

Can anyone recognize the wood type?

Looks like cork.
Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.

I have heard about that wood.
There is a key named after it  in the Floeida Keys.
Wood like that that grows in coral sand and salt
water must be tough. 8)
