Huh, I figured that snakes eating rodents would help break the chain because the ticks wouldn't have as many hosts, but I never made the connection that the snakes would actually be killing the ticks that were on the rodents.

So, would the same be true for hawks and owls? Not that anyone has hawk and owl roundups.
