I like them!! I wouldn't worry about the paint too much if it were me, it has that look of age where the paint has faded some. That is unless you want it to look new as they would often repaint the clothing to make it look nice again. When I've used those cookies I've misted the hides with water first and then rubbed it in. That tends to accept quite a bit of paint and I'm almost forced to make them look freshly painted. Next time I'm going to try just rubbing the cookies into the hide for an aged look. Hope to post my new warshirt soon...almost finished

I dipped the black and yellow in water and drew with them. The red I put water on it and painted with my finger.
I can't wait to see yours and get mine finished too.
