Shooting in alternative
« on: October 13, 2015, 04:27:02 pm »
I'm making a bow for a friend who is a lot stronger than me. I'm going for 50@27.5. It's 50@ 26.5 on the tree now. Kinda the weight To start shooting it in. I can pull 40# on a good day, I can't pull 50 to save my life. Is pulling it on the tree the same as shooting it. I have a 2:1 on the tree. I've been exercising it a lot as I tillered it. Would 100 pulls be equal to 100 shots?

Yeah, I have the same problem with warbows. Not much you can do but keep an eye on the bow after it's had some use.
