October workshop

I took a few days to work on an Osage stave.  Here is my workshop.

Nice relaxing set-up.  Keep a good hunting arrow handy. You never know when a deer might walk by.  ;)

I like the way you think.    8)

Since you mentioned it, I have cut wood a number of times, and deer have walked up on me.  Funny how some noise and movements don't spook deer but others will get you "busted".

Yea buddy.  I teach some primitive skills at my church. We have a small wooded area in a draw out front. IDEA !!!!

 I met a guy years ago that sometimes would let his chainsaw idle at the bottom of the tree he hunted from. He said a running chainsaw would attract deer.   
  Also, somehow deer know if you are hunting or just out in the woods or cutting firewood.  ???
