I've never heard of putting a fur 'silencer' type thing on the string, but what do I know. even if it didn't serve a purpose, it looks damn good just for ornamental purposes and I know the hide background isn't part of the bow but it looks really good with it :3

either way the full draw pic looks really good.

p.s. you have the build of a warrior. have fun slaying mad putang, girls like big strong men :3

Great work. I never thought of holes in bows...but it makes sense to me.

Thank you. It was filled with pith, which I hear will crumble out over time anyway. Drilled it out very carefully and sanded it. Love the outcome.

Wind Scar has my vote. Character and fun rugged lines. I like your story too as I have had to retire (for now) my Bear Kodiak Hunter @55# because apparently I have not rehabbed my shoulder enough from surgery in the past to not create a lot of next day pain from practice. I've stepped down to a simple Adirondack  long bow @45# to build strength and hopefully get a deer this season. Here in Maine we can only take one Buck, that's it. Special Doe Tags can be had but I missed that early season.

Great Job to all Bows, but this Wind Scar just spoke to me.
