One of my two boxes goes out Monday. I'm gonna try to have the other ready by then, but realistically it might be approaching the deadline. I will make the deadline though. I'm good at making those, lot's of practice.

Mine won't go out til the deadline. Not an excuse just a fact. I haven't even decided what all I'm going to box up yet but I'll make sure the box is full. >:D

I finally dropped the package off at the post office this morning. I through in a few extra goodies. With the quiver before sending. And I recieved my box of goodies Saturday. Once I get some free time I'll show off everything on the proper post. I will say I am extremely happy with what I got.

I'll be contacting everyone who hasn't notified me of being shipped within the next couple days. Been real busy. My step daughter is having some depression issues and we've been taking care of the help she needs. About half have shipped from a rough estimate.

I just completed the fire piston. Its a real dandy if i may say so myself. Im including some char cloth as well. I am really considering making up some bbq sauce because this stuff is really good. Just not sure about shipping liquids?

Shipping liquids should be fine as long as they are not flammable.

My attempt at making a fire piston failed, I must not have the secret figured out.

Well there is a little over a week before the deadline. If you haven't sent out your Christmas Trade item yet, please contact me in a PM. I'm trying to get a timeline so we can rap this trade up without it lingering forever. I have the list of participants and where they stand in the trade so help me check off everyone from the list.

Thanks,

  Pat

Here it is, count me as shipped.  I made a white oak bow and bearing block ERC hearth board, ERC and yucca spindle, fire steel from an old file with a flint shard from a Neolithic debetage pile and a yard rock.  Metal tin to make charcloth and some charcloth to get started. A ferrocerium rod with a crepe myrtle handle and a braided leather lanyard. A pocket frensel lense with a burlap bag. A handmade leather belt pouch to carry most of it in. Last but not least a bundle of fat wood.
