My first selfbow
« on: September 14, 2015, 11:29:51 pm »
Hello all, just wanted to show off my first Osage bow. It took me a ridiculously long time to build but I'm happy to say it shoots an arrow! I have to give a huge thank you to dvshunter who helped me along the way. She's 63" ntn 52#@27" with a hemp cord handle wrap and finished with bear grease. Thanks for looking and any advice or critiques are welcomed. Aaron

Nothing wrong with that bow, one of the best "first' bows that has been posted so far.

Nice job on your first bow! If Dave helped you then you are lucky. He is one of the best. Can't wait to see the next one! Patrick

Great first bow, you can only improve from here!
Would love to see what your next bow holds.
Whatever you are, be a good one.
