I couldnt avoid it so I set it dead center.  Its 11.5" away from the tips on a 68" bow 45@28.  The knot section is 2" wide.

On a 2" wide bow that knot is tiny, I would not even sweat it, seems you have left enough wood as the grain meanders around the knot like a river around rocks.  Just like you should have.  Chill out and get that sucker shooting.    :) :) :)

A super soak-er full of super glue and a decent backing? It looks like you'd still have a 1/2" on either side of the cluster give or take. I'd say it's more likely to survive than not, er ah... knot. No risk no fun right?

What's the other side look like?

I don't think its a big deal sleek i had an area like that about 8" from the tip and i made a static out of it

I have. I made one already and started another today. Will do another next weekend start to finish for the build along that was mentioned. I I have 3 more standing by waiting to be debarked and ring chased. After that, they sit and wait for inspiration.

I'd fill that cluster of pins with super glue, get another back ring taking care around these pins and start reducing the belly. Leave that area a little stiffer than the rest of the limb.

I'm with Pat on the straight staves, ok just kidding, but I am with Pat on going down a ring or two and being real careful about the pins,, if you have enough wood to permit,, at that point I really think you gonna be ok,,, as stated probably ok as is,, just saying what I would do cause I have" bowyers paranoia syndrom"   :)

I broke out my wood gouge set and set to work. Solid ring and super glue. Hope it holds.
