How To Make Arrows Look Evil

I plan on making a few arrows in the future. What are some tips to making them look nasty?

Pretty arrows are nice, but well tuned arrows are even better.   I would start out by trying to build the best flying arrow you can first.  Best of luck to you, and we love seeing pictures around here!

Use a piece of screen from a door, the old metal screen type thats hexagonal in shape. Use that as a mask and lightly airbrush snake collors over the arrow. The screen gives it the appearance of scales.

Kewl idea!

Can also do this with a torch.  I found an old metal wastebasket that had an interesting punched out chevron pattern.  I cut a piece out and rolled it into a tube.  You can slip it over the tail of the arrow, run a propane torch over it quickly, and make cool patterns.

Make them from rose canes and leave the thorns in place.  Then fletch them with razor blades instead of feathers.
Guns have triggers. Bicycles have wheels. Trees and bows have wooden limbs.
