Sorry Del. My mom's 90 and still pretty sharp. She knows there's not a lot of time left but she doesn't fret it.

Doctors detected Leukemia about a year ago and they have stabilized her blood cells. Doc say's she could make it to 100 if they keep things in check.

She and I talk and she isn't in a hurry to go but she's made her peace, lived a good full life, and takes it a day at a time.

If I could remain as sharp as she is I'd take a hundred.
I found many years ago that it is much easier and more rewarding working with those that don't know anything than those that know it all.

My most sincere condolences, on your loss.  I know the feeling.  Be at peace, with her passing.  I've no doubt she is at peace.  Like they said, remember her, and all that she taught you.  Again, my condolences.

So sorry for your loss.
Did the Native Americans think about all this that much or just do it?

My sympathies del... doesn't really matter how old our folks are... we're not ready to see them go. My dad said he'd only seen mom raise hell 4 times.... I guess I was one of them    ::)

Del - I only just noticed this today.  Sorry to hear of your loss and certain pain.  Here's hoping a sense of peace and comfort in release will settle into the place your ache currently sits and give you rest from the stresses of this time of parting.  Your world will never be the same with her gone from you, ...but you will never lose the impact her life had upon yours.  Mark and keep the best moments, and let the most difficult ones hurt for a bit and then bid them move on.

With sympathy...

Sorry to hear that Del, it sounds like your mother was well loved.
