Giant Ragweed here in PA, if you cut the stems before they are naturally dried out, then let them dry. they will make a very lite but not  too bad of a  spear shaft. Atl atl style. Not gonna be super durable but would work in a pinch. I sued to cut this and thatch my forts with it as a kid.

    Turkeys love it Imanged one farm it MD. One clover and beat food plot I planted it all the way around makes a nice thick edge cover. Rag weed,horse weed,squrril tails, All kinds of berrys. Make the edge as thick as you can.

  while creating food cover for all birds ,turkey. Bigger thicket it is ther more th bucks feel safer. And just might come out in the field a little sooner.
