Yep got it hidden in a closet and started one for my wife. Plus I just got my hands on a leaf spring from a garage truck. ...more knifes to come.

Is that curly hickory? Pretty rare to see figured hickory like that but sure looks it from the picture.

I'm not sure. It's a board I bought from Menards when I was in Michigan on a camping trip.
