Simple Osage Longbow
« on: August 08, 2015, 01:54:48 pm »
This is another one of the bows I made for someone with a long draw.it is a simple Osage selfie. I used some wood scraps for tip overlays and hemp for the shelf and grip wrap. It holds an inch and a half of reflex after me shooting it. I used a mineral oil and carnuba wax mix for a finish. I really like this simple style bow. Long lean and clean.

Long, lean and clean is right!  Nice bow!
Talking trees. What do trees have to talk about, hmm... except the consistency of squirrel droppings?

That's the way I like 'em; clean and classic.  Really nice work.
