Nicely done Del and Scott, that is a beautiful and smooth looking elb. It is cool how the PA community can bring guys together from far away to share experiences like this.

I think it looks pretty good scooter. Maybe the top 15" is a fuzz stiff.

That bow definitely looks better than the guy drawing it!

Well don't to the both of you. :)

This was the first yew bow I ever got to 'interact' with while it was being built! Del let me take a swipe or two at it with his spoke shave, an unfamiliar tool to me at the time, and he tried out my Shinto rasp on it as well.  I recall it most fondly,… And I'm quite happy to see it completed. Well done, well done, well done!

That is a superb bow in and of itself right there, then add in the story of all the whos and wheres and it is bigger than life!
"The bow is the old first lyre,
the mono chord, the initial rune of fine art
The humanities grew out from archery as a flower from a seed
No sooner did the soft, sweet note of the bow-string charm the ear of genius than music was born, and from music came poetry and painting and..." Maurice Thompso

@ PD - It could be, Chris, but it's closer than it appears. I like the way it shoots so I'm gonna leave it.

@ dvs - Says the man hiding behind a beard...  >:D

@ onebow & Carson - kinda fun to have a bow that has connected so many people.

Awesome!  The tiller is excellent.  Love the tips and especially the handle and arrow pass.   Very nice!
Talking trees. What do trees have to talk about, hmm... except the consistency of squirrel droppings?
