I have done some research. Looks like Hazel shoots maybe. I would assume that red or silky dogwood will work.
Since I live in Missouri. I was looking at the arrows using microliths set into the shafts. Wild looking. But I was
only able to see one end. So I expect the stones were out past the archers hand, or pointed upward not to cut the hand up.
I am going to next week try to cut an elm and dog wood for this task. I do not think I will use stone tools to do much
of the bow , but will on the arrows.
