Are you in springfield Ryan? I live here and will be off work at about 330.

The archery museum in bass-pro-shops sure is a cool place for inspiration! Patrick

Missouri, where all the best wood is! Well maybe not the straightest!

Building a bow has been the most rewarding, peaceful, and frustrating things I have ever made with my own two hands!

No I'm about 3 hours away in Eureka. Me and my friend came up here because he won a free bow over at black widow bow company nearby. It's a 1000 dollar bow he got free! They had a snakey Osage bow there made by Mike Yancey that was pretty cool too.

I didn't get any pics of the Osage bow but here are some of there laminated bows. They have all kinds of styles and wood combos. My friends bow is custom so he got to pick everything out it will be done in about 7 weeks they said.

Yep,, it's a cool place! Let me know when you are back up this way to get  his bow. Maybe we can get together for a while and visit. Or heck,  make some shavings! Patrick

The Bass Pro in Springfield is the original store and also the flagship store.  Besides the archery museum, there is a great gun museum, wildlife museum, all kinds of cool displays and aquariums.  Its a neat place to visit and spend the day.

I was in the one in Council Bluffs a couple of months ago. Nice store but very small. When you decide to come to springfield MO to give me a holler. Patrick
