new horn bow

bubby:
In the middle of the bow the horn was that wide, and i had a little work getting the outers to come around and they are still a hair stiff and i trapped the outers to acheive that, I'm sure you could get several more inches draw but 24-25" was all i needed

bubby:
And the tips have a little flip to them

Badly Bent:
This bow showed up on my front porch today, I can't believe it's mine. Bub and I did a bow trade and I ended up with something really special here. When I opened the tube and pulled this beauty out I just couldn't believe my eyes. I mean really bubby, a horn bow in exchange for the plain jane I sent you.

I put a few dozen arrows through it before dark and it's smooth shooting and fast. I wasn't expecting that kind of arrow speed from this short bow and my first couple arrows flew 2' over my target at 21 yards.
Once I got the feel for it's advanced speed I was dropping 'em right in the pocket. Can't wait till I get home from work tomorrow and can shoot it some more. I'll get a full draw pic taken then and post it.

Incredible workmanship Bub, I can't put into words how much I like this bow or how happy and proud I am to have it for mine. A thousand thanks my friend, this bow will be well taken care of and also be well used. :)

Knoll:
What a beauty, Bub.  Hope Greg brings it to next year's Classic!

osage outlaw:
Great job on the horn bow Bubby.  It was fun watching it come together.  That's a heck of a bow to get in a swap.  Greg, you better bring it to some shoots so we can check it out.
