It was a beauty Saturday in Vancouver, we went for a hike and I thought I'd bring the new bow along for some photos.
This is my first attempt at a reflex deflex design. I tried to cook in more reflex twice, but she just wouldn't keep it.
The tips ended up about even with the handle, but its a very smooth bow and lots of fun to shoot.
Not the tightest ringed yew, and mostly sapwood, but pretty light at 10 oz.
I don't think I nailed the bend, but it shoots quiet and feels balanced so I must be close.
She is 56" ntn, and pull 42# at 27". Sinew wrappings on the nocks, and deer hide handle wrap over built up cork.
Skins are western diamond backs I believe.
Cheers guys thanks for looking
