Abo & copper
« on: July 03, 2015, 02:00:51 pm »
Sitting in the pit at the classic. I had a chance to meet many many knappers I've talked to on PA.
The classic is something everyone should experience.   I made a few points & traded a few away.
At the classic John(Iowabow) asked me to make an Abo point. I tried my best.   I also tried to duplicate the abo point with my copper tool.   Can y'all guess which is which?
I hope everyone enjoys, I think I'm going to try & utilize both methods.

The only time I have been using my copper bopper lately is if I have a nasty shelf. Stone and antler have been good to me lately. I need to get an antler billet.

Both are excellent, but the red one probably has more meaning to you!

Thank you Gentlemen. Yes it's the red one.
I notched it with. Deer leg bone sliver.
