So paulsemp gave me a hockey stick stave
« on: June 29, 2015, 12:35:25 am »
It was full of powder post beetle holes and dust and super skinny but it was also osage so no worries of course. I chopped the hockey part off....yes it's the sister to JacksonCash's Marshall stave haha... which brought it down to 50" and heated the right limb to match the natural curves in the left. Backed it with deerhide and I've got a real cute little bendy coming along now.

It's about around 43 at 24 and shoot's real nice for it's size. The pic here isn't at 24", probably more like 21 but I will have more pics later.

Sweet little shorty... Doesnt take much osage!

the mono chord, the initial rune of fine art
The humanities grew out from archery as a flower from a seed
No sooner did the soft, sweet note of the bow-string charm the ear of genius than music was born, and from music came poetry and painting and..." Maurice Thompso

Sweet.  Congrats!

Somewhere there is a pee-wee hockey team who suddenly can't find a lot of equipment...
