Use it or loose it......mentally or physically.  Have known many examples of this over the years.

Like my father-in-law used to say," It's better than the alternative." Anyway it's not like we have a choice.

Last couple days I felt like a 100, my wife took me to Emergency today for a shot of Demerol.  My back is a disaster.   >:(

I know I am getting old, but its not going to stop me from the life I have always known.  My worst problem is forgetting names and not enough time to do all the things I want to do.  I have wondered if I should have my remains cremated and scattered over the mountains, but will probably end up being griz bait on one of my mountain hikes!  I really think I was raised in the best times as during the war everybody was pretty much in the same boat.  A poor kid could through hard work make a living and even put himself thru college without thousands of dollars debt.  Joe

No one will know you are a geezer if you use your glasses to
shave around your adams apple and get all that hair out of
your nose and ears. Keep the sleep and nap boogers out
of your eyes, your shoulders back and stop shuffeling in public.

Not looking forward to being an even older fart, but I am looking forward to retirement. :)
Yeah, I remember when we had a President who didn't wear a tinfoil hat.
