Well got out today and cut some,been a cool dry spring so I waited,bark prefect for peeling now.gonna go to my dad in law farm next weekend to cut some bigger stuff with the help of a quad.

I am working on an elm stave now too (my first) and it's some hard stuff.

I can't wait to try some elm I hear so many good things about it. Cool dry spring huh? It's been the hottest summer I have ever seen here and I've lived here my whole 29 years. It's normally this hot in august hut not in June I'm scared to see august this year
