Man hits Moose
« on: June 25, 2015, 08:47:53 am »
I heard this story on the news this morning about a man hitting a Moose in Newfoundland http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/newfoundland-labrador/man-from-conche-n-l-hits-moose-but-can-t-remember-it-1.3126446.  I've met a lot of Newfoundlanders and all were great people, I just didn't realize they were tough as nails

WOW
Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.

There is a link to another story on that page about a woman who did the same thing a few months before, it's worth reading.

The story online does not compare to the story they did on the radio.  On the radio the man actually spoke the paraphrases that are online and the way he spoke and his accent was just too much
