I am more than intrigued. Simon. Help me understand. You have a high crowned back. Do you pick a thickness of the limb for the edges and then hollow the belly out to keep the same thickness in the center where the thicker crown is? Then how do you tiller? Does this make the crowned back actually do some work? This makes more since that decrowning and having a feathered back that could be too weak when you leave the belly flat. I love it.

Thanks for your interest and your comments!
Some guys have already answered the questions (thanks),
HLD stands for Hollow Limb Design, more info: http://www.primitivearcher.com/smf/index.php/topic,41217.0.html
I'm convinced BL will take the fuming very good (much tan acids in), but I haven't tried fuming a BL bow yet. Will do on an upcoming project.

Thanks for that link to the build along. it answered all my questions and confirmed my thought somewhat. I am going to have to try this. It sure opens up a whole new source of materials. I tried to search yesterday but did not find it.
