gday guys, just wondering if anyone has ever made arrows out of fruit tree shoots?
i'm working on an orchard at the moment and we are winter pruning some plum trees. they produce long straight shoots that i'm going to try for arrows.

Go for it. I have in the past and they worked out great. I've even used apple. I would use plum again without hesitating.

One thing to keep in mind is that plum checks very easily.
