Drooling over arrows a LATE Thank You!
« on: June 11, 2015, 02:06:43 pm »
He don't know how much I like these arrows, I get them down off the wall along with my 2013 trade arrow from Ozzy from time to time and drool over them; aspiring to some day make arrows as nice as these guys do. My 2014 trade arrow(s) showed up in the mail at a time we were running around like crazy, I know excuses everyone has one  :-[ they sat in the post office for almost a week before I seen them and life was still in my way. So all that being said, I 'd like to Thank Danzn Bar for the great arrows, I hope the thought of using or (loosing) that arrow hunting will put a smile on his face, I would like to run that stone in the side of an elk this yr.  Ed

Kentucky river cane 30" long 60# spine
Wild turkey fletching thread wrapped
Marabou feather tracing
Point - not sure of the material, TX Chert, I think  ??? but Stringman/Scott did the knapp'n
Point attached with faux pitch (2 part epoxy with charcoal dust added)
Self nock reinforced and point hafted with artificial sinew
It's in my blood...

Nice arrow Ed.  Bill makes maybe the nicest arrows I've ever held and Scott is one talented knapper, that combo is deadly brother. Good luck on your elk hunting, hope to see a pic. of that arrow and a downed elk.
I ain't broke but I'm badly bent.

Your welcome Ed, glad your enjoying it.  But an arrow is make to be shot.  Hope it shoots well for you out of your bow. I'd be mighty proud if you used it for hunting and got an elk with it this year.

I got the point from Scott in a trade.  Scott makes a great point.

  Scott makes a great point.
Yes he certainly does, I have never been disappointed with the points I get from Scott.
