Obsidian for ???
« on: June 14, 2015, 08:44:43 pm »
I have about 25lbs of Arizona obsidian, black with some gray streaks.  I need to get rid of it.  I can get more if you need, but I don't like it laying around, as I am not a knapper, and have limited space.  Not picky but I really could use a new draw knife.  Small and of good quality, can be dull and rusted, preferably no chips or no large chips in the edge.  I can also always take snake skins and feathers.

I'd be interested in some obsidian. I've got a couple nice draw knives to choose from but both 10".
I found many years ago that it is much easier and more rewarding working with those that don't know anything than those that know it all.

I have a lot of turkey primaries left and right wing and some secondaries left and right And I think I may still have 2 turkey tails in the freezer but I would have to look. What would you need for a trade for some of the rock?
FLINTKNAPPING IS EASY...I WAS ALWAYS TOLD I COULD BREAK AN ANVIL WITH A POWDER PUFF.
