sinew and snakeskin backed pa. yew
« on: May 18, 2015, 09:36:50 pm »
I cut this tree in my sons backyard right around 2000 ft if that means anything. My 4th sinew backed bow but my first using knox. All the others were tb 3. I like working with knox much better. I would have liked to get the outer bottom limb bending more, but there is a significant knot and I worked it as far as I dared. Maybe tips could be worked down more. What do ya think? The mass weight before skin was 15 oz. 60" bow pulling low 50's at 28", I might work it out to 29"

Nice bow Bob!
