Ok I am working on a mollegabet from hackberry. I'll call it molle hacket. Not the metal band.
Half eye is giving me help on it. 66-67" long. going for 50 lb. at 27" lots of fun building it.
SO FAR.
. I will try to get picks up soon.

Pics man
I've grown to like the short molles more than the long ones. Their levers make them perfect for shorties really. Even if you don't like bendy handles you can always build up some cork

Mollegabets all day long.
Might as well make them short, save some wood to keep warm.

Well, I got mine finished. I will try to get pictures up asap. 66" ntn , 56 lb. at 26ish.
Sweet shooter. No built up riser, only a correct handle. At 20-25 yards shoots 4" groups.

Nice bow dog. I like the name pretty clever. I need to build a molly. How's the speed on it?

Gorgeous! Are you going to narrow the levers any, or do you think maybe they need to be a bit wider at that length? I've yet to make a lever longer than 12" so that's where my experience stops

For the length this is the way it needs to be. Halfeye helped me set it up this way.

The upper limb has the reflex in it. I think final weight is 56 at 27 "
I like it !!

Nice looking bow. Definitely on my list to do one of these. Seeing this bow may push me to finish the piece of ironwood I have started.
