Hickory molle, 45#
« on: May 10, 2015, 03:42:15 pm »
Here's a hickory molle I made a couple years ago for a buddy in trade for him making me a rifle stock. I had never got around to taking pics of it. The limbs are 28" with 50/50 lever working limbs with the working part starting at 1 1/4" tapering to 1". The levers are 3/4" tapering to 1/4" at the tips. The levers have walnut underlays and tip overlays. It draws 45#@27". And is quick with no handshock or noise. It will launch a 450gr arrow a little over 200 yards. We're hoping for further when we switch out the plastic fletchings for feather so we can get rid of the excessive flopping. It has been a very tough now since my friend consistently over draws it to almost 30". Sand it has about 2" of set.

Thanks for looking,
Kyle

Looks definitely like an interesting stick!
But your pics are way to small to see details.
Make them bigger size, man!
