If you like it...and the String stays on....leave it and shoot the pssss out of it.....they said this Birch Bow would not last the Meet I took it to....and now it's three years old

Bow of the month would be cool ! ;D Here are the other pics Justin. Some of the whip ending comes from the tips. The natural grain of the wood bends toward the belly at the tips.
   I wish I would have taken a picture of this stave when it was given to me. It was seriously trash wood. The guy that gave it to me was going to burn it. He handed it to me and said " Here ya go make a bow from this, I dare Ya". I think he was joking and was trying to get rid of his junk.

It lines up pretty good down the center. It really is a shame that it is whip ended and has taken so much string follow on the ends.  How does the draw weight compare to what it was when you finished the bow.  Has it dropped dramatically with the string follow. Justin

Thats not string follow on the ends. Thats the natural curve of the grain. It has followed the string more than most of my bows but the string follow is average. I haven't weighed it in forever but it seems the same.
