Thanks guys, the color of the left one is unique. It seems to be a stain in the rock. First piece that had it from the larger chunk.

Zuma, I don't mind the post, heck those are some fine points. Rhyolite will posses a knapper. I have some good Texas rock and will pick up the rhyolite because I know the challenge and reward is so great.... :o
