PD's trade bow
« on: April 16, 2015, 07:55:09 pm »
There is a post on another website about a bow Pearlie built to swap with a bowyer who builds high performance glass trad bows. The guy is absolutely gushing over the bow he received from Chris. Nice to see that his master level skills are not only appreciated here, but elsewhere also. Congratulations Pearlie!

I see that, jeesh, Im blushing over here. Like usual I seen a thing or two that I needed to do better, seems ol' Steve missed 'em! Fooled again!

In all seriousness, he is a good dude and sent one sweet dead straight long bow, 55# glasser. I shot 30-40 arrows from it and buried them right in there, he builds a damn sweet bow himself.

If you never have time to do it right, you'll always have time to do it over.

I never took a pic fella's. If you want to see it you'll have to go to tradgang and look in the pow wow section. Its just a typical flat bow with skins. My "usual". If it was posted here it would be on page 3 in a day! Yaaaawn!

Seems there's been sharp spike in viewership over on TradGang forum since early this morning . . . . .
... alone in distant woods or fields, in unpretending sproutlands or pastures tracked by rabbits, even in a bleak and, to most, cheerless day .... .  I suppose that this value, in my case, is equivalent to what others get by churchgoing & prayer.  Hank Thoreau, 1857

Chris you're not allowed to talk, PERIOD!

Go stand in the corner... and take your drawknife if ya want... might as well work on a yeller stick while you're there. Now you got 20 minutes, make me another bow!  >:D
