I'm always amazed by those enormous blades.  How big was the piece that you started with?  Was it a slab?

 No slabs here. Unless natural slab. Don't know what it is but picked it up on some state land I won't mention at the balcones state (oops) natural area :o. All TX cept for the smallest knife is some of Mullets coral. Thank ya kindly fellers :).
