@cowboy: Thanks. Yep thinning is a definite area for improvement, followed close by everything else.
This is my thinnest yet so I'm making progress. I'm also curious how thin hunting points should be. I'm guessing it's a balance between cutting edge and strength. I'm sure ideal is thinner than mine at any rate.
Just need to get with some experienced knappers to connect the dots.

Heck ya Bob, I'm very anxious to break some rocks with ya! Yes I tried to make the serrations as Gill did in a recent video. I'm very open to others opinions on the best points for deer/elk. See ya on the 26th!
@Tracker: cool. I'm very impressed with the one I got from Gill. I've read two books on knapping but realized I just need to break some rocks until those lessons sink into my thick rock!
