This is my thinnest yet so I'm making progress. I'm also curious how thin hunting points should be. I'm guessing it's a balance between cutting edge and strength. I'm sure ideal is thinner than mine at any rate.

Heck ya Bob, I'm very anxious to break some rocks with ya! Yes I tried to make the serrations as Gill did in a recent video. I'm very open to others opinions on the best points for deer/elk. See ya on the 26th!
@Tracker: cool. I'm very impressed with the one I got from Gill. I've read two books on knapping but realized I just need to break some rocks until those lessons sink into my thick rock!
