I have some really awesome trees to cut in the future.  I have a couple giant straight trees, I'm just not energized enough to split them yet...  I was exhausted just busting out these 15 staves and 2 sets of billets.  The big trees I have to cut will yield 50 staves each, maybe more..

In the 60's is fine. Couple of those could be split again.

You'll have some SWEETTTTT staves in couple years. The older they season the better with osage. Theyed be really sweet in 10 to 20 years.

Right now when green is when I add reflex to my staves. Saw horses then ratch strap the centers down to the floor. Crank it down to about 2 inchs of reflex. I can keep bows 58 inchs and up to 1/2 of reflex to straight when finished. I'll leave them reflexed untill I sell them or use them.
Hatch those green staves down into smallere staves that can bend. It's not hard it will make those staves that a good to now there great.
