Hickory backed Ipe. done!
« on: March 30, 2015, 10:52:53 am »
This is my first hunting weight bow.  And my first finished bow that I've posted.  Im sorry for the pics I will get some better ones as soon as I can talk my wife into taking some. It is 66" t2t  65" n2n. 50# lbs. @28".  The handle is blood wood and ebony. It didn't take some set about 2" worth. It shoots pretty good and is very quiet.  Its not the prettiest thing in the workday nut I will get better. Thanks for looking and critiques are welcome.  I hope you guys like it. Thanks again Timothy.

Best I can see you covered all the bases, most important is your tiller appears to be even. And second most important is you appear to have proper fades.

I say, good job!

Good job!
Talking trees. What do trees have to talk about, hmm... except the consistency of squirrel droppings?

I say we'll done. That tiller looks nice. And your transitions look great. Congrats on your first hunting weight bow.
