need fresh eyes and opions
« on: February 16, 2015, 04:19:30 pm »
This bow is giving me fits. How things are going I will not have any wood left to tiller. Actually I still have a few pounds to play with, but not much. With the reflex limb and the horizontal curves that this stave have is causing me fits. Ill reduce a stiff section then flip it around and it's bad on the other view. Any ideal? Be nice to me del I'm sensitive

Mids are flat on both sides. That tiller should be more elliptical than it is. Here is a good way to approach it. You see that last 6-7" of tip where you flipped them up? The limbs should bending the same from fade to that point.
Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.

Right on Chris. The bow is bending too much out of the fades. Work on the last third of each limb.

How long is it, and how wide in the ionner limbs where it is bending too much?  Defiinitely needs middle third and outer third limbs bending more.

It's 58"t/t and 1 3/8" at the fades
