Badger, that's a good question, I just liked the profile of the bow design and the pictures/discussion in TBB III pg. 52. This bow does not have the traditional Sudbury nocks, it has some overlays for the FF string. And the bow has more of triangular shaped limbs, but I believe the original Sudbury had a stiff handle. I got a little carried away with the fades....
that's why I noted " sort of".
. I have been shooting the bow this morning and for the first time since the start just put it on a scale, I was pleasantly surprise to find out it was actually pulling 60# @ 28". My true draw length is only about 27". I guess the length helps with the smooth draw and I didn't realized the weight.
Now for some snow shoveling.
