Yes that is a big one.  You will have a good time splitting it

I'm cutting firewood  right now and I had a Maple that size I was planning on cutting down.  When I got up to it I changed my mind.

My back started hurting just looking at the pictures.  I would have to hire the neighbor kids to split that one.  Nice haul!
Enjoy the hunt!  Mitch

Brings back memories of my haul the last 2 years. What a work out splitting those big ones, but when you pay the stash a little visit all it brings is smiles. Have fun.

Nice!

I could have used that crawler a time or two.

Steve, it's even better in person. Trees like this don't come around that often.

That should keep you in bow staves for a while Scott.  Looks like some fine bow wood to me.

You did good, Scott, but looks like a lot of work ahead of you.

That's awesome scott. I was just thinking it's almost harvest season. But in you case I'd have done it now to. Nice and frozen ground.

You are right, Eddie!

Dave when we started the ground was firm, but by the end we had to use the skidder to push the dump out of the bottom field. It was gettin SLOPPY!

That adds a whole new kind of urgency.  Lol. Still beats packing it out on foot. Nice haul. Not you need a bigger machine to split it.
