this is where I get mine ya'll can commence drooling, the feed store here has an entire room for horseshoer's, note the variety
failure is an option, everyone fails, it's how you handle it that matters.

I found a box of USA made Nicholsons on Craigslist for dirt cheap
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

They sure are some are so sharp you get little slices in your fingers just checking them out

I just got a Nicholson 49 from my Grandpas tools. I haven't used it, but it is nice to have something that was his.

Dave (DVSHunter) turned me onto the local equinine tools/supplies vendor.  His rasp selection looks just like Bub's photo.  I mentally thank Dave every time I pick up my rasp.

Yep,especially with the save edge.They are the only brand i buy,in the last 20 yrs.
