Weather has been real crappy, time hard to come by but Im oh so happy so far :)

Have you got it to brace height yet? It looks pretty good so far. I would probabley wait on the tru oil til I knew it was shot in, but thats just me.  Danny

It's another white oak, 69"  tip to tip, was about 40ish at 23" Goin
To 29" slowly... haven't pulled since bending tips,
Giving time to dry a little more since I steamed it...

Will say, I made a new steam box out of pine about 4' long.
Made a huge difference in how easy the limbs bent !
My last white oak had some small cracks, about 1/32 to 1/16"
During bending. These limbs are thicker, and wider and now
I know what people mean when they say wet noodle lol  O:)

I will check # when I get to 28"..

I have to say, this is one of the most enjoyable thing's
That I have done in years... I absolutely can't wait to work
on it or another one every single day lol ...

Its better than any therapist  :D
Maybe next year I will be ready for the trade :)

Thank you!  The handle was figured from my clay model 1st. I was worried about the shelf and figured the grain direction made a little week spot, so drilled 3 holes and glued hardwood dowels in.. don't know if its visible in the pictures. .. only worry nwas how much I cut into the handle just above the arrow rest...

That is a very nice looking bow. I really like white oak and the riser job is very appealing.
