Jeff I have only worked mulberry twice so Im no help. Maybe someone else has some ideas. It looks nice so far though.

So, been workin on this slowly but surely. The handle was naturally very wonky so i did a glue up of ipe and osage to help it flow. Also did ipe overlays on the flipped tips. Now gettin ready to do my first rawhide backing, got a couple questionable knots on the back.

Yeah that's kinda what i was thinkin, we'll see. Now just nervous on how the backing is gonna turn out. I got it tillered out to 15" and the weight feels good. This is the most involved build i've done so fingers crossed it works out.

Hey guys I got my build all done for the most part haven't put a finish on it yet because I'm still thinking about possibly reflexing  it and adding sinew. It came in a bit light bit shoots great for its draw weight. Thanks again sidewinder.

Finally finished it up.  I shot about 200 arrows thru it and was really happy with it, so I didn't mess with the tiller anymore.  I've put a few coats of Watco Satin Wax on it and will do a few more.  The pic's I took outside make it look kinda washed out.  It's a shame because it's a good looking piece of Osage.  Also put a strip of cherry bark on it just because I really like cherry bark. :)

Just pulled my sidewinder stave out.  It has quite a bit of twist but ill work on getting that out with steam or dry heat.  There's a knot one inch above center.  What do you guys think about making that an arrow shelf.  I'm not sure it will work. Any advice is appreciated.
