I'm reluctant to post pics today as I was hoping to be further along than this. There is alot more that will go into this bow before it is finished. I backed with rawhide today so I didn't want to do full draw yet. But I have shot this bow several times and it is very fast. I still need to trim the rawhide, fill the pith groove, stain the whole thing, and finish coat it. I will probably remove the artificial sinew handle wrap which covers the rawhide splice and do something more, dressy.
Its an oceanspray, 60" ntn, with osage additions, in the 40+ lbs. range. This is my 'backup' bow for the trade. I start the primary bow tomorrow. I'll send him/her both.
