Folks, I'm getting ready to put some paint on some limbs and need a little inspiration. Show me some of your limb art please!

It would be shameful stretch of the truth to call it art, but here is a Sudbury style(sort of) that I painted up quite a few years ago. Josh

Ain't painted one yet, but when I do, I plan to use some of the drawings you see on pictures of tepees--Warriors, horses, deer--that sort of thing. Kind of like cave paintings.

Great idea for a thread. Adams89, I would like to see more of that pretty bow.

I was going to paint my first soon! What's a good finish, preferably natural, to put over the paint?

Certainly some nice work out there folks. Jensen, I'm a crummy artist but a finish that protects my feeble work is shellac - which you can buy from Carson at Echo Archery. I really like the way it looks and it has been used as a work preservative for at least 3000 years.
